As we prepare for the 2026–2027 school year, the McAllen ISD App will become the primary method of communication between teachers/staff and parents, so this is the perfect opportunity to get connected and comfortable using it. We hope to see you there!

On Tuesday, Feb. 17th, we will be taking portrait pictures ONLY for all new students and staff, as well as any students who were absent during Fall Picture Day on Sept. 24th.

Our Family Sweetheart event is TODAY, 2/12, at 5:30 pm at McAllen HS! Open to ALL! Jackson Elementary is excited to see all of our Jaguars. Registered families who attend will be entered for a chance to win one of 10 four-packs of Vipers tickets. This is the perfect opportunity to visit with us and explore ALL McAllen ISD has to offer!

To ensure a smooth school day, Jackson Elementary will not be accepting student deliveries for Valentine’s Day (flowers, balloons, gifts, etc.).

Students are welcome to bring Valentine’s cards to exchange with their classmates on Friday, 2/13.
